About Rumidate
What is it?
Rumidate is a website and blog that explores the many sides of dating, flirting and pre-marriage relationships (outside of the bedroom). Whether you’re a guy or a girl, our lives are consumed with meeting the right person, hooking up, discussing significant others, obsessing over crushes, analyzing scenarios and asking for advice for different situations. We’re here to look at all of this from a variety of angles and provide content, resources, services, tools and anything else we can think of to entertain you and help you get through it all.
The name Rumidate was conceived by combining two highly-correlated words “ruminate” and “date.” To ruminate means to go over in the mind repeatedly and often casually. Generally, we seem to do this a lot when it comes to dating by analyzing each situation more than we probably should. Therefore, to ruminate about dating is to rumidate.
Rumidate is where you go when you want to get a real take on dating, flirting and relationships. We created the site to be a unique place where both guys and girls can read about and interact with each other vs. what all of the just for men or just for women sites out there do. Our thinking was: why not focus on our demographic (post-college to pre-marriage), combine both genders and create an entertaining and helpful environment where we can actually learn about the types of people we’re dating from those same types of people? It just made sense. In the near future, Rumidate will launch another dating-focused website relating to city-specific content and services (starting in New York City)…stay tuned.
