Ted Danson’s Favorite Pick-Up Lines

June 30, 2009
 Category: Videos

Back in the 80’s and early 90’s, Ted Danson was AWESOME. Playing Sam Malone on Cheers, Danson showed everyone out there that a full, thick head of hair and a great smile was key to being a ladies man. But we recently found his other secret weapon, a book of pick-up lines that are soooo good that you might not need all that hair to be successful. The following video shows Teddy Boy reading some of his favorite lines from the book. The best part of the video is probably him cracking himself up and how he’s sitting.

Go out right now and try some of these…

I Got Dumped For Obama

May 14, 2009
 Category: Videos

Last Fall, during the presidential election, now-President Barack Obama won over a lot of supporters and all-out fans. Guys and girls alike were singing his praises, following his every move and waiting for the day he would finally be elected to the presidency of the United States. People sat glued to the tv, watching hours and hours of commentary on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News regarding the “new wave” politician.

This situation surely had to have an effect on many relationships. Democrat girlfriends and Republican boyfriends got into arguments over healthcare and the economy (it almost got as bad as the problems Mets girlfriends and Yankees boyfriends have with each other). More and more couples stayed in to keep up with the news every minute. And one guy even broke up with his girlfriend because he was too in love with President Obama and couldn’t spread it around to more than one person. We were fortunate enough to find a video that explains what happened…

May 5, 2009
 Category: Videos

Ladies, you’re tired of the bar scene. We know, there aren’t any good guys out there. You’ve been rejected too many times or no one will hit on you. Why not try online dating? You have thousands of people at your fingertips to choose from and you don’t have to speak to any of them directly at first. This has to be so much better than at the bar! Aren’t you happy you’re finally trying it? Well, maybe not. According to the following video, online dating creates a new and much more efficient channel for you to get rejected. You don’t even have to go out anymore to experience it…you can sit in the comfort of your own home and contact a bunch of guys who will never get back to you, thereby saving you time and money (if you’re using the free sites).

Relationships And The Littlest Of Things

May 4, 2009

You’re in a serious relationship. You’ve been through a lot, but you’ve found a way to get past all of it and you’re still together. Until…the trip to the video store. All hell breaks loose. What are the chances you both want to see the same thing? There’s so much to choose from, but she doesn’t want to see a storm of violence and he doesn’t want to see a Meg Ryan film. What else is there?!?! A quiet, laid back night turns into one of irritation and arguments. Maybe renting a movie wasn’t such a good idea…

The author and creator of this video is Lev Yilmaz. The video is part of a series called Tales of Mere Existence, which provides an interesting look at the common thoughts, actions and conversations we have with others or with ourselves in our daily lives.

A Couple Of Great Ways To Break Up With Someone

April 28, 2009
 Category: Videos

There is so much awkwardity involved with breakups. Does anyone really want to deal with them in person? Of course not. You’ve heard of people breaking up by text, through email, having a mutual friend deliver the bad news (if you’re back in high school) and even by sending a fax to the other person’s office (refer to An Inconvenient Breakup). The following videos present two unique ways of breaking up with someone without having to say it to their face.

In this next video, an Australian guy is finishing up an interview on what it looks to be a popular morning news show (similar to “The Today Show”) and he uses the last thirty seconds to give a “shout-out” to his girlfriend. Watch what he says:

 Category: Videos

Finding a date can be hard. There are so many ways to do it…get set up, try online dating, get picked up at a bar…but sometimes none of that works. Two guys, Dave and Ethan, decided to try something different. They created a video, posted it on YouTube and basically asked the world out on a double date. Here’s their first video introducing themselves and setting out their criteria for the type of girls they’re looking for.

This video is part of a series of 20+ “Double Date Us” videos that you can find on YouTube (with more to come). You can also see Dave and Ethan live in their hilarious stand-up performances (upcoming gigs) in New York City and other cities and college towns across the US. Finally, if you’re interested in going out with them on a double date (we’d highly recommend it), send them an email at DaveandEthan@yahoo.com, but only if you’re good looking…

Drunk texts, talking shit about the other person and finding ways to get back together are just some of the wonderful aspects of breaking up. The following video displays several stages of breakup, get back together and finally breakup and details the emotions and thoughts one goes through during the process.

The author and creator of this video is Lev Yilmaz. The video is part of a series called Tales of Mere Existence, which provides an interesting look at the common thoughts, actions and conversations we have with others or with ourselves in our daily lives.
